My cat is on a leash

Edit: This is the first time I'm uploading a pic from an iPhone on the T-Mobile network without internet--so this is from a wifi upload.

But this is a pic of my and my cat Iso in which I've placed him on a leash so we can someday stroll in the park. So far I have to coax him to the backyard with some food so it does defeat the purpose of "exercising" if I'm feeding him.

Hopefully, he'll like to go outside since he doesn't try to escape or struggle or bite the leash [or me for putting it on him].

Guidance

I am at the offices for my clinical and I see out from the window two ladies and a dog. The lady with the dog is apparently blind or somewhat visually challenged as the other lady walks with her and directs her to the right direction as they all cross the street. Pretty cool how this dog is intelligent enough to help a person cross a street safely.

Home Visits

I'm @ Marin City with the public nurse I'm working with for this semester's psych and mental health rotation. As of now, we do home visits for targeted case management and here are the case files we bring along in our visits. As a student nurse, I write notes for their case files, look up resources for them, and even do client teaching. This is the other side of me than photography.

Homeward Bound from Occidental, CA

I'm coming back home from a church retreat in which I help lead along with friends. I'm definitely glad I'm back home and crossing the golden bridge is always a cool part of traveling north and south. Although I'm back, I know there's a lot of things ahead of me so I really gotta get back to my work in school and work.

Hotfreedog

So I'm at my psych rotation for nursing and it's lunch time for all the patients (and for us nursing students). I see what they're having and it's a hot dog! Oddly the past 2 weeks I've been craving for a dog and so I ask if I can get one. And so I do! For free! In addition I get cole slaw, fries, a banana, and a glass of milk. Free.99 at it's best. But oh, for the near future it will cost $2.50 for lunch.

Pedestrian's Wait

I'm driving home and I see this young fella chillin on the sidewalk waiting to cross the street. Reminds me that even when we have the few moments to spare, it's important to take time, breathe, and relax. And don't rush... That's how accicdents happen.

Chicken Apple Organic Hot Dog..

..topped with dijon, onions, relish, sauerkraut, and ketchup. Delish.

How it always ends.

Everytime we eat out, I'm always done with my plate and my girlfriend always ends up with a to-go box.

Cheers!

My girlfriend just found out she's officially an RN and we're here @ King of Thai Noodle House having two pad thais and two thai ice teas. Delish.

Underbrella's Love

Om my way back to my car and I see this old couple walking by USF. The older gent walks his lady across the street while holding his umbrella to protect her from the rain.. and here is getting rained on the entire time. Why do older couples have to be so cute.

Bending Straight Gold

I was on my way to my clinical in Marin City and I was amazed for some reason by crossing Golden Gate Bridge. I had my camera in my backback but it was in the back seat so I whipped out my phone. So I prolly shouldn't have taken a photo while driving (and please don't unless you can operate it without looking at it..thats what I did). But hey, I got this very interesting photo while riding down the bridge. Warp speed baby.

Slumgdog (is a) Millionaire

Just watched the movie with my girlfriend and definitely deserves all its awards. Don't wait til it comes out on dvd, go now and you'll thank me.

Magneto can't do nothing..

...when you have these bullet proof clear walls protecting the bankers and possible robbers at Bank of America. I wonder if they have to clean it everyday.

Out of all the places...

...I see a menu for a Mexican restaurant in one of the bathroom stalls at USF. Whoever brought that into the bathroom I already assume was taking a number 2, but there are two other assumptions I have that I'd like to know: 1) was the guy figuring out what he ate that gave him a stomache ache or 2) was the guy figuring out what to eat later on. Either way, what a strange find.

Iso's first Dr.'s Visit

On Thursday. August 28, my girlfriend and I went to SF SPCA to adopt a cat for me and my mom. While there, we went around the many "condos" they had for the cats and dogs and first cat we went into was Ralph's room, a tabby-white mixed cat. Susan, one of the volunteers over there introduced us to him and he quickly learned to like me and Cherry. We spent a few minutes with him and then headed out to the other cats. Although we looked at other cats, we decided to go with Ralph (along with Susan's persuasive skills hehe). We took him home and along the way we started thinking of names. I finally settled on Iso, which is photo related (ISO is the speed of film). Hehe So welcome to Iso to the family to join us and Ripley, my 10 yr old iguana.

Good Samaritan

With a drizzle coming a long in Daly City, my mom urged me to drop off the "Cat Lady." Unfortunately, she didn't know her bus doesn't come along on Sundays and didn't know she would have had a long trek from Daly City where she feeds her city cats to her home in South San Francisco. Along the way she briefly explains who she is and shares pieces of her history. Amazing to say the least and I would definitely love to interview her someday and take her photograph even more.

Last Buffet @ Vegas

My mom, uncle and girlfriend are waiting in line @ Sahara's 6.99 buffet. This will be our last meal before we return home tomorrow on our 7am flight to SFO. Our trip is 3 days/3 nights and we stayed at the Circus Circus hotel (yep...I played games and won some stuff toys). Yesterday we all went to Grand Canyon and tired ourselves out by walking too much. Anyway, here's to our last night @ Vegas..more food!

Ferro Photo Tour

Here I am seated near the back although the large screen is clearly viewable. Saw this business workshop in a magazine and logged onto (ferrophototour.com) and decided to sign up. It's held at Double Tree in Burlingame and this is the first time I've attended a workshop. And as I look around..I'm probably the youngest and I'm probably the only Filipino American here. Everyone else have either gray hair, moustaches, bald, and yyea..that's pretty much the demographic here.
